PAINTING

I begin by creating a sketch. Using colour pencils, I feel and predict the emerging colours of the artwork. Sometimes everything changes during the process because my main preoccupation is to convey my emotions through my art – when my feeling changes my art changes too. My art always represents my inner world. That's why I like it.

LINOCUT

I love the process of making linoprints. Every cut on the lino block will ultimately appear on the print. The apparent simplicity of the process hides behind itself a thorough preparation. For me the beauty of the technique is about the fact that every other print that comes out of printing will never be the same.

COLLAGE

A collage is a kaleidoscope, an observation of beautiful forms where you can never know what will catch your attention from one minute to the next. As a whole, a collage creates a mix of senses, emotions and perceptions, a total new whole. I am passionate about using images of people’s faces and mixing them with rich backgrounds.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Photography is a sublime way to catch the fleeting moment and be able to show it. The favourite part of photography art for me is showing human feelings and reactions, those that are hidden or even subconscious for the subjects themselves. Whether the moment is beautiful or troubling, it’s fascinating to think that it's forever captured on film.
